I am a Ph.D. Student at the Department of Computer Science at the North Carolina State University. I obtained my BSc from Sharif University of Technology in Tehran, Iran and my MSc in scientific data visualization from University of Calgary, Calgary, Canada in 2015.

I joined the IntelliMedia group in Fall 2016 after gaining a brief background in Education from North Carolina State University College of Education. I am interested in the design and development of intelligent tutoring systems and adaptive educational games. I am particularly interested how different aspects of educational psychology can be incorporated using Machine Learning and data mining techniques to enhance learning via advanced learning technologies.
